World Interiors Day (WID) according to Shashi Caan, President of the IFI: is an important opportunity to highlight the merits of the Interiors professions and their impact on quality of life. By organizing a function, open-house tour or lecture - for example - you are contributing in a global effort to raise awareness of the value of what we do and, in turn, enable us to increase that value.

10% for 90% is a particularly thought-provoking theme which asks designers, as part of the 10%, to focus their skills on the massive 90% of the world’s population for whom we must design. No event is too small - so get involved this year and celebrate Interiors with our global community on Saturday May 29.

The International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI) is the global voice and authority for professional Interior Architects/Designers.  IFI is the sole international federating body for Interior Architecture/Design organizations, and acts as a global forum for the exchange and development of knowledge and experience, in worldwide education, research and practice. Often considered as the “United Nations” of the Interior Architecture/Design field, IFI connects the international community in order to further the impact, influence and application of the design of interiors, promote global social responsibility, and raise the status of the profession worldwide.
